AVA is a London based architecture and visualization studio led by director Chog Burley. We offer award winning visualisation and animation services to the architectural, interior design, product design and magazine industries.
I completed my diploma in Architecture at the Bartlett, UCL in 2001 with a commendation for design and a distinction for my technical thesis. I studied for my degree at the Macintosh School in Glasgow where I was entered for the RIBA Bronze medal in my final year. I went on to work for Rundell Associates on projects including the White Cube Galleries and studios for Damien Hirst. These both formed case studies for my RIBA Part III.
At the same time I developed my 3D skills, leading to a period of work at the Mill in London. I also continued to pursue my life long interest in music. I am involved in studio production and DJing, with many gigs and several releases over the last few years.
In 2008, I established AVA as a vehicle to explore these three interests – architecture, 3D and music. AVA is about allowing skills from one area to enhance another in pursuit of the common thread : the successful communication of ideas.
